Citrus season is here and we are making so many things with our lemons!

My fig tree was full of fruit so I made some fig preserves. Perfect for biscuits, a charcuterie plate, or toast. Enjoy!

My fig tree is producing beautiful figs! I am going to make a fig jam with them.

My okra plant is now over six feet tall! It's producing a ton of okra and I am going to pickle some!

I love growing eggplants, especially this smaller version. It's much easier to work with and much less waste! These are some of my best eggplants so far!

These peppers are great for people who don't like spice but still want a good pepper! Roasting them is a perfect way to serve them and it's so easy! Plus, you'll look fancy!

My favorite coffee shop in San Clemente, California is Bear Coast Coffee. They are the best, hands down.

This year is our first crop of figs!

One of my favorite things to grow is sunflowers, especially this mammoth gray. 

My Mammoth Gray Sunflower is opening up! It's already six feet tall and the bloom will be huge!

My winter crop is going strong and collard greens are up next!

Winter doesn't stop us from growing food and flowers here in Arizona!

This year has been a rainy one! It's made for some beautiful walks and photos too!

The remaining plants in our summer garden are still producing! We just harvested plenty of okra, eggplant, and one long bean!

Downtown Phoenix has character and it's growing! I love to explore and visit the bars in downtown phoenix. This was taken in the alley, on the way to Valley Bar. 

Lemon Queen Sunflowers are one of my favorite type of sunflower. They are smaller and shorter than traditional sunflowers but they are still so beautiful. 

Throwback Thursday! This was be at probably 2 or 3 years old with my favorite toy, Alf. I used to love that show!

Out with Shane to dinner. We'll be celebrating nine years together in September. 

In Flagstaff, Arizona you can hike underground in the lava tubes! It's a great adventure and and great way to cool off. It's always 42 degrees in the lava tubes.

The Dixie Chicks are on tour for the first time in 10 years. The show was amazing! 

San Clemente, California is my favorite place to go and relax. The Spanish Village by the sea is beautiful and full of life.
