The community of Moon Valley, is located in Phoenix, Arizona and surrounds the Moon Valley Country Club. Generally, it's between 19th Avenue and 7th Street, between Greenway and Thunderbird. 

Located within this community are Lookout Mountain Elementary School, Mountain Sky Junior High School, and Thunderbird High School. These schools are high preforming schools within the Washington and Glendale Union School Districts.

Lookout Mountain Elementary is ranked 7/10 by GreatSchools. Students who attend this school preform above average on test scores in both Math and English. The local grocery store is Safeway. There are many retail options at every major major intersection around Moon Valley. Shopping, Gas, Coffee, Restaurants, and Pharmacies are all within a mile of the community. You won't have to go far to get what you need!

There are also a variety of religious places of worship for many faiths, located right in the heart of the community. 

Hiking and outdoor space is abundant in this area of Phoenix, like Lookout Mountain Preserve, Phoenix Mountain Preserve, and North Mountain Park. These popular trails will keep you busy and challenge you with multiple levels of difficulty, depending on which mountain you hike. Living in Moon Valley, you have some of the best hiking choices in Phoenix.

Moon Valley Park is on the north side of the community and offers play grounds, sports courts, basketball, and more. This park is a busy hang out as kids are heading home from school or as people are out enjoying their weekends. 

Moon Valley Country Club is a Championship Course, originally designed by Dick Wilson and later redesigned by Bob Cupp and Associates. This par 72, 18-hole course, is challenging for all levels of players and plays from 5,278 to 7,210 yards in length. In addition, the Club offers fantastic practice facilities complete with an 18-hole, par 3 course, The MoonWalk. The Club also offers Tennis, Aquatics, Fitness, and Event spaces for use to it's members. There is also Grill 59, a restaurant featuring American favorites with local ingredients, managed by Chef Justin Blank. There is also a full bar and patio space, to enjoy the beautiful, pine surroundings! You'll forget you're in North Phoenix!

Hillcrest at Moon Valley is a private adult community located within the Moon Valley community. It has beautiful common areas and is perfect for active adults, who want to continue living within the city. The privacy, along with the location, make this enclave a very desirable location. 

Hillcrest property offers some very serene lot locations as well as homes which vary in size from as little as 1,500+ square feet up to 3,100+ square feet. The architectural style of homes in Hillcrest are all very similar, consisting of single and multi-story Arizona, ranch style homes. The homes in this community are built of either block construction, or block and wood framed construction. There's also community features and events that keep the community active and connected!
